    Doe kindled day 40!

    Congrats on the day 40 with survivors!!! I wasn't so lucky :-( I have rebred and am now on day 18 :-) Not sure if both does took, but I am pretty sure one did. Good luck with the babies...I didn't have much luck with formula feeding, so I just let the doe do her best.

    So, I gave in to the idea that it was a phantom pregnancy...although I do believe she may have kindled and consumed the evidence.     Well, still no babies....when I got home last night, she didn't want to eat and was panting heavily... I bough some fresh parsley last night and gave to her....she ate that, but no babies this am... she took her food bowl and put it in the nest box and made what looks like a nest in the front...
