    Life Happens.....

Sage advice from Marinea. You should find a lawyer and right quick. You may suffer from your injury's down the road. As stated before do not sign anything! Around here the lawyers take one third of what is recovered. You should have to pay nothing to get the ball rolling. I was rear ended over a...

    Questiions about 2 does

I also have a Red New Zealand doe. That is a very good mom. Mean as all get out. Will scratch and bite. But throws wonderful healthy kits. Once the kits are weaned. She becomes a very affectionate rabbit again. With her i just put on a long sleeved shirt and a glove. Had a Golden Retriever that...

    Livestock Guardian Dog with Rabbits

I raise Red new Zealand's. I am on my third Rottweiler now. She loves the rabbits and guards them like they were her very own. My last two Rotts were the same. They greet each rabbit i the morning. They lay down by the rabbit cages. Heaven help anyone or animal. That try's to bother the rabbits...

    Cushioning for his paws?

I would try newspaper or the such. Clean it out every day. Maybe get him a couple of rubber cage pads. Used for sore hocks. Help get him up off the floor of the cage.

    Where to get 1/2 x 1 GAW wire 14 gauge? 24" wide?

Bass Equipment also sells that wire. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q ... 2ecQH0ZnhA

    keeping the ground dry?

I built a four foot by four foot by 20 inch grow out cage out of treated 2 x 4's and cage wire. All wire is on inside of cage. So there is no chance of them eating the treated 2 x 4's. The bottom of the cage sits 24 inches off the ground. It also has a metal roof. Plenty of Timothy hay and...

    Old doe, bad stock?

As long as she is good and healthy give her another try. As they age litter size may or may not decrease. I just had a two year old Red New Zealand go for 34 days before the still birth of one very large kit. All of her previous litters were 8 kits each. She will get bred again very shortly. As...

Vinyl Coated Wire vs 14 Gauge Wire?

I use the stack able cages from Bass Equipment. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q ... 2ecQH0ZnhA The floors are 1 x 1/2 inch 14 gauge. Mats are probably the best thing you can do for sore hocks.

    Dispatching

Get a rabbit wringer. It is the fastest way. Or a good whack on the back of the head, then off with the head is also very quick. Or the broom stick method. I just did eight yesterday. Wringer worked flawlessly.

    Decreased litter sizes

How much do you feed them? As a fat rabbit will have smaller litters. Just saying.

She has had 4 litters for me so far. Smallest was six kits largest was 9 kits. Giving her some time before i re...
