    Oak and Acorns

I did some very minor research and pulled up this: https://www.ourlovelyrabbits.com/can-rabbits-eat-oak-leaves/ but since it talks about rabbit vomiting I have to wonder about it's value. I also found this one: https://yourcoolhome.com/can-rabbits-eat-oak-leaves/ this article is positive...

    Help sexing kits

another way of telling if a rabbit is a buck or doe is to look for thin red lines on either side of the vent. If those are present you have a doe. From pics you have doe, buck, doe, doe.

    Need advice about Craigslist sale

having sold tons of pet bunnies... I don't offer refunds. I do sometimes ask for the body of the rabbit back so I can do an necropsy on it to see what might have happened. I would ask a ton of questions like "did the rabbit have a bowl or bottle?" "did you give it a bath? What did you...

POLISH RABBITS: I need a short-bodied Polish buck for my long-bodied doe. Which of these would you buy to raise for her?

i would be wondering if they are all siblings. They have a vary similar look. I would concur that #2 and #4 are the best of the lot and would lean more to 4.

    Protective spray for trays

from experience.... painting fresh trays doesn't hold the paint well if you do it yourself with rustoleum. Cleaning trays as best you can once they are well used.... WILL extend their life exponentially. It was quite shocking to me how much longer they last once sprayed down really well...

I assume they are neutered/spayed? Otherwise living together you'd have too many kits! :)

Best nesting box for summer??? (1st timer)

I happen to dislike urine guards as I find it makes rabbits more icky. But none-the-less if your bunnies leave them down yes, that works. I've never had baby saver on doors. Generally babies (if dragged out of the box) will gravitate to the corners.

Best nesting box for summer??? (1st timer)

building a wood nest box is easy. It's basically a box 2 inches bigger than the doe. Adding a baby catcher to the front is just a matter of adding a bit of angled wood. But in the summer you need to worry less about babies getting out as the warm weather will keep them warm enough. my...

New to rabbits and rabbit talk for color re

before starting to breed for pets consider what you will do when eventually you get some that won't sell. also, when you do breed, DO NOT breed mutts. You will be further ahead breeding rabbits that look size wise and body shape wise that actually look like a particular breed. It is easier...

We bred her 42 days ago…

those kits look like day 31-32 day pregnancy, not like they were 11 days late. Whenever I've had does run late on a pregnancy you can tell in the kits with hair growth that something odd has happened. And yes I know you know when you bred her, but one needs to look at the kits and ask some...
