    Help with colors?

I've never heard of "Orange Otter" before, Oranges just have lighter unders The "Brokens" are most likely VM (Vienna marked)

    Howdy all!

I would breed the two Does around the same time. They have their Kits at almost the same time and if something goes wrong, they can be given to the other Doe
  3. RabbitsOfTheCreek

    Not new, but returning!

Poor babies (and Doe) Hope you don't lose anymore rabbits to the heat

    Mucoid enteritis?

I had this recently with a 3 month old, @Alaska Satin should be able to help What I did was give them plenty of hay daily, only offered him hay and his pellets (what I think caused it was a lot strawberry tops he wasn't used to), and made sure I saw him eating whenever I went down to them

    Problem with Kit Size

If the Kits are too large then the problem could be the Buck
  6. RabbitsOfTheCreek

    What color is this kit?

Ones with blue look like Torts to me

    Howdy all!

So just turned 6 months and almost 5 months I'm assuming (and hoping-) this was their first time breeding, and since they're just reaching a good breeding age I doubt you'll get much for the time being You can breed a five month old but they're still pretty young and the youngest I limit myself...

    Howdy all!

    How old are they?
  9. RabbitsOfTheCreek

    How many chances?

I've had all of my first-time Does have unsuccessful first litters up until recently
  10. RabbitsOfTheCreek

    How many chances?

I give Does three chances in a row and if she isn't able to raise any Kits in them then I stop breeding her

    Color question

Looks like Smoke Pearl, mine are usually darker but I've had Kits that light before

    Is Catnip Safe For Rabbits?

I was with some of my rabbits outside, and I grabbed a piece of catnip (we have a few growing) and held them up for them to sniff That got me thinking if rabbits could actually eat them. On Google I found a couple of things that said they're safe, but I thought I should go ahead and ask here

    Rabbits and chickens

Chickens can meaner than people think, I highly advise against letting the rabbit out physically with them, especially when they're that young
  14. RabbitsOfTheCreek

    My newest litter. French lops.

All rabbit breeds take around 32 days to have their Kits Generally depends on their genotypes and what else is in their pedigrees

    Mom aggressive to kits

Is she every aggressive outside of that? In my last two litters one of my Does was an excellent mother but started chasing and lunging at her kits at about 4 weeks. They were big enough to be out of the nest box on their own so I moved the Does to a separate cage and put her back in a few times...

    Help with color

Please don't hold them like that for no reason

Could I see success bonding a 5m neutered buck with another baby buck?

It could be possible. But it's not always easy to just bond two rabbits, and some just aren't meant to be with another
  18. RabbitsOfTheCreek

    Fur & Size Genes?

It wouldn't be hilarious if a bunch of problems come up, like if the Doe is the Dwarf Or if she's the bigger one and ends up crushing the dwarf Kits
  19. RabbitsOfTheCreek

    Is This Concerning?

He's been doing a lot better now He's only had a few days last week where he had it a little, the other day I saw him eating pellets and the bowl's been emptier since then. They've been getting hay daily instead of every other day like the others and I've been seeing him eat that the whole time

    Swollen breasts

Similarly to eco2pia, one of my Does had a TON of milk and you could definitely feel it
