    Please consider this...

"There are multitudes of backyard and commercial breeders that do not care for their rabbits properly" A breeder that breeds to exploit and gain profit (contrary to popular beliefs there is very little to know profit in this industry) will absolutely do this, but not a breeder who breeds to...

    Where to get floor wire

This brand is a rabbit breeder favorite for a more expensive but defiantly worth the extra pennies route bass equipment or kw cages as long as it is galvanized after weld, and at least 16-14 gauge (as you stated) then it should work. I would keep my eye out on amazon, sometimes you can find...

Bucks penises can take up to 12 weeks or more to fully "close". This looks like a healthy 8 week old boy to me.

    Hello from Wisconsin

Glad to hear of someone keeping the Himalayan breed alive. Although not very versatile, they have absolutely wonderful temperaments and are the best when it come to a "pet breed" imo. Its a shame they have lost popularity, only one breeder is registered with ARBA in the entirety of the USA.

    Pen-G dosage?

We are going to be treating for what we believe to be vent disease. I believe I found a reputable source on how much Pen-G to give them but just wanted to double check on here. If you can give the amount as ml/lb that would be best, but if not its ok. source Procaine Penicillin G for Animal Use...

*BLOOD* Rabbits with bleeding toes *BLOOD*

I had quite a few with toes nipped off and one that got "de-gloved" from the elbow down when it was about 3 weeks old. Luckily, I have never had problems with infection or stress stasis! Rabbits are much more hardy than people male them out to be!!!!!!! Just keep the sight clean and as long as...

NZW Doe has a Cloudy/Cottonball Textured Coat—What is it?

Pictures are needed for us to give accurate help. Some rabbits will take weeks to get through a rough molt, so if it is that you'll probably just need to give it more time. make sure to brush the rabbit well, every other day is usually enough, but some rabbits need it everyday during molting.

best dog breeds for rabbit people

A well trained one. Breed isn't that important, training is what needs to be focused on. If your can get a dog that has already been with/behaves well with small animals or a puppy so that it doesn't have "pre-set" bad habits that would be easiest, but any dog can work. It really all depends on...

    Boy or girl?

6-8 weeks is the recommended minimum age, however they can be weened successfully before this as kits will stop drinking milk/naturally ween at about 4 weeks. With that said, it is definatly not advised to sell them before 8 weeks, kits are quite prone to stress illness within the 6-10 week...

    Boy or girl?

If they are mature then it is a doe, but if they are young I cannot tell. (different breeds mature at different rates but generally they will have fully mature genitals at about 20 weeks) Try sexing more like this. Pinch the base of the tail between your index and ring finger and gently pull...
