    Kits!

If a rabbit won't learn though, you do not want to breed with that rabbit as temperament is an inherited trait, just fyi.

    Kits!

When a couple of our does were young and going through the teenage thing they got "attitude" and offered to bite, one did. Rabbits discipline each other by holding the offender's head down. I used that trick of holding their heads firmly down, saying NO! If you get a nip, in a loud high voice...

Rabbits still feeding from there mother 3 months on

Keeping the kits with mom for 8 weeks helps develop their long term gut health, but 3 months it is best to give mom a chance to dry up and recoop! I've left one with mom up to 11-12 weeks but after that it becomes silly to see, lol.

    Thoughts on Tri Buck's Coloration?

Tricolor is a labor of love right now, but they are starting to place. Biggest problem with the tri's are they tend to be small and they are a work in progress to get SOP type. But other brokens started the same way and are winning consistently and tri's are improving constantly. Type (SOP)...

    Thoughts on Tri Buck's Coloration?

I love the color on your tri buck! He has good coverage and bright colors. He isn't posed but he looks like he has nice type too. If he were mine, he'd be a keeper, I have a very similar buck now.

Animal Wanted ISO Rabbits in Kentucky

Alot of scamming is going on, you are very right. Breeders in the group try to advertise scammers so people recognize them. Many of the good breeders recognize photos of their rabbits being used on a scammers page, that's how they get the photos and descriptions. Best to be very careful...

Who here is active in the ARBA?

ARBA's encourages the responsible breeding of the rabbit breeds in an effort to improve each breed to its type. Breeding irresponsibly inevitably waters down the gene pool for each breed. Education and networking is their main goal. Showing is only one of the aspects of ARBA.

    How to keep the red

That surprises me as Mother Wolf rabbitry breeds red NZ and shows/wins with them. You might try her on fb and she works with transport. Treehorn Farms in WA I think also carry reds and they have fine NZ.

We are in Oregon and our grown Tamuks do fine in freezing weather. Don't know about below zero but with hay in their cages on cold nights just like our Rex, they do fine.
