    Blind baby??

That is what I was thinking Dood, but how when I have kept all cages clean and power washed, I culled the other doe, this doe and that never were near each other. I clean daily, I have been extra careful. I just don't understand. My last litters were all fine, I prob had 15 kits from different...

    Blind baby??

I don't know how to post a pic but he just looks like his pupils are cloudy. Not the whole eye. No head tilt or anything. Should my breeder doe be culled?

    Blind baby??

Can anyone tell me what would cause a 3 week old kit to have cloudy pupils?? It is healthy and has been healthy since birth as is the mother. He had a sibling who was a peanut. I am so upset!

    Netherland Dwarf Doe is biting

Thank you for your reply, it does make alot of sense. I will try those things you mentioned, I am a bit afraid of her at times and I know that'll only make it worse. I appreciate you explaining them to me! Hopefully we will find an agreeable way to interact with her!

    Netherland Dwarf Doe is biting

How many of you have netherland dwarfs who bite, and would spaying help? She is 7 months old, never really seems relaxed. She bit me in the hand when I put my hand in her cage to pet her even though I talked softly to her before doing so. Then today, I had her on my stomach/chest, petting her...

Wry neck? 4 week old kit?

I just found one of my 4 week old holland lop kits tilting his head to the side. I clean on a daily basis, they are fed a high quality pellet, unlimited timothy hay, fresh water in water bottle. Is it common for a young kit to have this? I had a 2 week old about 3 weeks ago, that kit was tilting...

Best size for holland lop nestbox?

What size are most of you using? Especially for your bigger brood does? I hate taking up so much cage space with the 10x9x18 tractor supply cages, they are a bit big anyways. But the smaller nestboxes that are 14 inches long, I'm afraid are too short. I found the Ware boxes that are 9x9 1/2x16...

    Would you purchase?

Oh yeah, I knew tris are and harlis aren't, but was wondering if chestnut tris are? I mean chestnut/orange/white. Trying decide whether I should keep him. You all are so much help, really appreciate it!

    Would you purchase?

Are those showable? Duh on me! : )

    Would you purchase?

Thanks Dood, that makes sense. She supposedly has a chocolate backround but I don't need another chocolate, just loved her crown really. As for harliquinized chestnut, what would you breed to one of those, as I have one and just bred him to a black/orange tri. What might be the outcome? Both...

    Would you purchase?

I have the chance to purchase a beautifully built black holland, I know you can breed with many colors but what would be best if I loved her type but don't want alot of blacks in my litters because they don't sell well in my area. Sorry for the ignorance on this subject! Also, what about...

Cat caught baby rabbit in yard. Alive but injured.

I have a rehab permit and do cottontails, please take to a rehab center as this baby will need an antibiotic as akane said. It will not survive a cat attack without being treated with one

    Hay cubes?

Thanks again for all your thoughts. My buns have been getting timothy hay 1st cut that also has some alfalfa, I think I will try the timothy alfalfa cubes. Hopefully all will go well!

    Hay cubes?

Thanks so much for your quick replies! It would be so so much easier than they hay. I give alot of hay and clean every 2 days but the mess is unreal, especially when my herd is in the garage. Seems like most gets peed and pooped on and goes through the grate also. I can only find alfalfa oat...

    Hay cubes?

I have seen that some feed the timothy alfalfa hay cubes to their rabbits instead of hay, I have seen others that say it isn't recommended. I am going out of town and would like to try them with my herd. My buns are on a high quality pellet and it would be so easy for our relatives to feed the...

What are your policies for taking back bunnies?

Yeah it is a hard call here, I don't have an extra cage as I have recently had 3 does kindle and and are full. I have a feeling that these people didn't realize bunnies can kick and scratch, are messy, and just aren't ideal for a young child sometimes. I know this bun was kept inside therefore...

What are your policies for taking back bunnies?

Hi all, I was wondering what you all do about the occasional buyer of one of your kits who calls back after 4-5 months after purchasing a pet quality bun from you and wants to return it due to "allergies" aka - the bunny isn't what they thought it would be, she is messy, makes noise at night...

    Buck didn't fall off?

Lol! I know! I will try again today! He just stopped, got off and walked away after it looked like he was going to fall. Ugh! Guess not in the mood!!
