I have 2 kits now who are 2,5 week old and they start to eat a little hay, but i would like to know how old are they before they need water and start eating pellets?
Would like to know if i have to adjust the height of feeder and water
Thanks
You could buy a tent, they dont cost that much
I think Jack on the forum here has a setup like this, then they would be protected from the weather, flies, frozen water, and all that other stuff ;)
Thanks guys
I am taking the nestbox in during the night cause it got a little colder here, i guess when they are a few weeks old they will be a little more tough against the cold weather
Yes maybe you will still get some, mine made the nest yesterday right next to the nestbox, so i had to move them to the box, had hoped for little more than 2 though..
So my NZW doe just had her first litter this night, i found 2 and 1 half eaten
So i cant say if she ate more or she only had 3 but i guess maybe because its her first litter, i just hope she will not eat the rest
I am about to have a new litter of NW, they are outside in a good made nest box, but we will have about minus 9celcius now, will it be to cold for them?schould i take the box in or what do you guys suggest
Thanks in advance
Im now feeding pellet to my rabbits, but planning on mixing the pellets with oat, wheat and rye, and ofcourse give them some hay few times a week
What do you guys think about this feed, i know some who do very well on it here but wanted to ask you
Thanks ;)
