At 14 wks growing this is the outcome

These are the grow outs to breed later or cull. We only have rain water here as i live off grid. Wormed and preventatived. I did a ECC test as i do before i add chemicals to any of our animals, and no worms. Weights 4-6lb. So small breed is correct id say. Need an enlarger. ? Flem giant doe?

results of fodder feeding trial with meat rabbit fryers

Thats a nicely designed pilot. That was ltd due to sales of kits. But also seems to show, little benefit in the time taken with prepping fodder.

    Feeding grass/types of grass

I have my rabbits in a tractor on pasture. A mix of annuals and perenial grazing grasses so theres always something growing. I.e. its not lawn grass. They are fed the weeds, varied types, some poisonous, and watched them avoid the poisonous ones.( I was ready to intervene just in case). They...

    Rat breeding for cats.

Guinea pigs are an alternative meat, none of the aversions to rats, less disease burdened species. And maybe feed the cat less so it works for a living? Once they get the taste of fresh meat, theyll ignore food in their dish i find.

    colony questions

Having to clean a box is no issue. It was more worry the other rabbits would enter/disturb or harm them. Ill put 3 boxes in for 2 does. Ty
