Hi! I'm relatively new to rabbits( at least compared to most people on here) I've had rabbits for a year and a couple months. But in my experience I found that when it's cold they tend to "bury" their kits. Pictures would help, just to see how much they are under the fur. Is this your first...
For a dog to be healthy it would need some vitamins and minerals that rabbit doesn't provide. And it would also need some fruits and vegetables. But if you did do it, you'd probally 8 or 9 does (so 7+ kits) breeding each rabbit every 2 months.
Happy thanksgiving!
Just recently we acquired a second home that we are going to be traveling back and forth to. We have 3 rabbit breeders +growouts, 8 cats, and a dog. With our second house, we can't setup any rabbitry area. So we are thinking about using a trailer to keep the animals in full time. Does anyone...
I wouldnt be concerned. Older rabbits have quite a bit of fat. I culled a few that were 6ish months and had "gobs" of fat too. In my experience its normal. But im also fairly new to rabbit husbandry.
