Probably should have asked how old she was before you bought her. There are other reasons why she only had two in a litter. If she has to much internal fat or maybe wasn't feed quality food. I've had does that would give me 10 or more in a litter their first year or two. But years three and four...

I like me some rabbit liver and onions! But if I see a liver that doesn't look healthy even some that do I have caught a lot of catfish on rabbit liver. Just a idea so it's not completely wasted. :rock:

This is funny because I have thought about Hereford rabbits to! I have mostly white rabbit's now but that's mainly because I don't want the kids getting attached to any of them. But if there was some Hereford looking meat rabbits I would have some :D I have a Hereford bull I just got 3 month...

Rabbits can deal with cold a lot better than heat! Make sure to give them shade and possibly a fan or frozen water bottles

I always like to see 2 or 3 fall off's but have had several litters with just one. I think some times the does just aren't in the mood to be chased around a cage for a hour :lol: Plus I'm sure wild rabbit's just go there own way after breeding or at least the doe the buck goes looking for her...

Are we talking 60 breeder's plus grow outs? If so it would depend on the size of cages how often you plan on breeding them how much hay your storing. If its what I'm picturing it would take a barn for sure :) I have 4 does and 1 buck and that's plenty for me but if I thought I could make some...

Age shouldn't matter to much with buck rabbits I know of one buck that is at least six and he can still raise to the occasion. So if he is healthy he should be good to go! Maybe try another buck, let him watch maybe he will get jealous and figure things out. If not you have yourself a pet so...

If someone only wants to eat a few a year buying some is a better bet. If you want to eat several and have the time and space then getting a few meat rabbits works. I can't say its any cheaper raises your own but I enjoy it. That my be the most important part of raising rabbits enjoying them...
