Thank you for your insight. Lighting wasn't too good for these pictures tonight, but I think you can see the color comparison a bit better.

Pedigree includes: lilac, castor, opal, lilac otter, amber x3, REW x2 , chocolate x2, red, black otter and lynx. What color are the kits? I see a definite chocolate otter and I believe...

Too many kits for mom to care for?

You are welcome. Yes, the chickens could spook them. Plus, you don't want their waste falling into your rabbit cages. It can be harmful to your rabbits.

Too many kits for mom to care for?

Hi Juci, I am sorry that you lost 8 kits. It's tough with losses. I would not attribute it to too large of a litter for her to handle. Mama rabbits are pretty amazing. I have had a mama successfully raise all 14 of her kits. Could something be spooking her? She might be jumping into her nest...

    Druid Hills

Does anyone have information on Druid Hills line? I am trying to get additional information on a couple of my bucks pedigrees. I am looking specifically for information on DH Albert and DH Fire. Photo of Caspian for attention. Thank you!

    Labored Breathing

WARNING: graphic photos. Unfortunately I lost her today. She did tend to lose a lot of weight while pregnant. I did open her up. I have no idea what to look for, but I know her organs didn't look good. Here are the photos that I took.

    Labored Breathing

Thank you. Good to know. I am hoping that she holds on for a few more days until the babies are fully developed. I just want to calm her breathing and make her more comfortable.
