We inherited a Holland lop who is resting comfortably in her nest box.
I've given her lots of parsley over the last 4 days. Gave her a run in the ex pen for two hours starting at 10. Gave her a run with a lusty buck at noon. She wasn't overly cooperative but didn't kill him. Mostly cuddled him. Lat night I left a bowl with a tbsp of mixed fenugreek, black cohosh, red raspberry leaf to nibble if she wants. At 4 pm She gobbled up lavender buds and stems.
And still she sits at 630. Laying in her best with her bulging and taut belly. Lounging and accepting pats in the head.
I'm beginning to think all the above are old wives tales and that Mother Nature will do things in her own time regardless of my pathetic attempts at intervention.
Is there a question? Yes, generally how quickly are these things supposed to work (a run, an interlude with a buck, lavender, etc) ?
**she is most definitely pregnant and she is 100% on day 32.
