So far I've only had one rabbit per cage so I've been using 16 oz. water bottles. In about 15 or 16 days (I think... Correct me if I'm wrong please!) I'll have kits coming out of the nest boxes.

Should I add one of those clip-on plastic crocks for the kits to drink out of or should I install a larger water bottle?

My rabbits are Florida Whites so, being smaller, they don't drink as much as, say a NZW.

I've always used bottles on cages from netherland dwarf to champagne d'argent. None of my currents ones have raised a litter with anything but a bottle yet. I do use chicken waters in my colonies and just made my netherland dwarf colony.

The answer is:
Add a larger water bottle!
Do this by placing your sipper tube on a two liter Soda Bottle.
You can use a piece of cage wire to fashion a proper bottle holder.
Or a small piece of wire to support the nozzle and another
to hold the bottle to the side of the cage.
This is what I use on all of my cages.
Ottersatin. :eek:ldtimer:
