Well we were pleasantly surprised by today's 9 week weigh-in. Although the mother was culled for aggression we are really really hoping her 2 largest doe kits will end up being more docile so we can keep the genetics. Her largest buck offspring is very friendly and the plan is to replace our smaller breeder buck with him.
The 3 keepers weights are: Doe 1 - 4 lb 8.2 oz, Doe 2 - 4 lb 8.4 oz, Buck 4 lb 9 oz. The other 4 of the litter were all hovering around 4 lbs.
We decided to bring the keepers inside for an hour to get some extra face time.
