I just tried this recipe with rabbit instead of chicken and it came out pretty good. (Defined as, my husband ate it and commented favorably instead of making faces. We are still trying to re-train our taste buds to enjoy rabbit after having been raised on chicken.)

Of course don't leave it in there for five hours on high or you'll have rabbit jerky. I start it on high to bring the temperature up and then switch to low and keep an eye on it. I also flipped the rabbit over after a couple of hours.
