Ok so I built a self watering system that is gravity fed from a 5gal bucket.. It workes no problem allll the way until I get to the spouts. I have 4 water spouts attached to that main line, the ball bearings in each spout seem to be under too much pressure for the doe and babies to get a drink even the male has a bit of trouble. Any ideas on how to remedy this?

Cut the water in the bucket by half. If that allows the ball valves to work, then that might inspire different solutions.

__________ Wed Mar 16, 2016 9:20 pm __________

Now that I think about it, ball valves aren't usually used for automatic waterers for this reason (in my limited experience). This is the type of nipple I've always seen used. They are spring operated laterally, so pressure is of little consequence to them.

Lol those pressure valves are wayyy too expensive for this lol. I may end up just having to buy those spring loaded nipples. Unless I can come up with some sort of Mcgiver plan using a second bucket, a piece of plastic tarp and some sand creating a syringe/hydrolic controlled type of pressure
