I have attempted to breed her for the longest time. Is this a precursor to laying? Could it be a sign of another issue.....It is evening when I first realized it. I found it in the nesting box as well as it fallen through the netting....

Have you kept accurate records of breeding/kindling dates? It could be that she had a litter that were born dead and ate them...

When you say you have attempted to breed her is she just not receptive, or is she not having kits after the buck falls off?
