What type of scale does everyone use to weigh their rabbits? Hanging or platform? If hanging, how do you hang the rabbits? I worked as a service tech for a poultry company and we weighed birds by hanging them from the scale with a small rope around the wings or legs, so my first thought is to weigh them by the back legs? Thanks in advance!

I have a hanging scale, but want to get a digital produce scale. The hanging scale has a wire basket made out of 1/2" x 1" cage wire. I wouldn't recommend hanging them from their legs unless they are dead, and you are getting a pre-processing weight on them.

I have a cheap digital scale that I use with a plastic tub. I want an old fashioned Toledo scale- the one they used to have at the butchers. I'll get it eventually, just need to get the rabbits indoors first

I agree with not hanging them, you're asking for broken backs or legs
