Hey,

My rabbit was attacked by another rabbit through the bars of her cage. She has an injury to her nose that does not bother her and is not infected. But I worry if maybe she needs a stitch? To pull the two sides of her wound together?

Would I be causing her more pain for something purely cosmetic?

Thoughts....

It looks good to me, and I'd leave it the way it is. :)

But I'm one of the many members who don't take our rabbits to the vet... if that's something you do, you certainly could take her and see if a stitch or two would ensure that it heals together.

I think it'll be fine if you do nothing, though.

A dab on New Skin (basically super glue) may help. That's what my vet suggested when my dog cut her nose. It worked.

Super glue (or stitches) will only help when a wound is fresh.

It looks like it is healing very well, so I would leave it alone.

Nice deep blue color on that Rex, by the way. :)
