Lint Roller or brush ?

Hi to all the nice people on this site who help me out . Now this sounds stupid but can i use a lint roller on my bunny instead of a brush ?

I use the sticky lint rollers on my (very) short haired dogs. I don't think I'd use the sticky kind on a rabbit, as it seems likely their hair will get stuck.

I think the stickiness of the lint roller would just get caught on the hair and may make it painful for them.
