icons?

So it is evident that I am new by this question. To the left of each post is an icon most look like a "play" button some are green some blue and some are triangles with a ! in the center. What does each stand for?

Pretty sure green means a new post since the viewer's last visit. Not sure on the others.

Green is new posts, blue means no new posts. The exclamation point ones are sticky threads for each category. They stay at the top of the page.
