Husks from the barley/ sunflowers/ wheat

I am not sure they are actually called husks, but do you need to rinse out the seed coat from the fodder once it has sprouted or can the seed coats just be left for fiber? I am just starting to play with fodder. Thanks for the input or insight.

I've always just left them. As long as there is no mould, it should be just fine.

I don't bother trying to get them out. I've not had problems with them causing mold (mould) problems--but that is a possible issue so watch for it.
