How much breeding will a buck take?

I have read all the recommendations. I want to know in your experience (not what you have read or heard) how often have you succesfully used a buck before his fertility went down and you had to rest him? I know this will vary from buck to buck.

the most I have used a buck in one day was 6 times and it was 2x 30min apart each on 3 different does hes a real tiny ND and by the end of that he was pretty wore out looking but im sure someone will chime in with more

I only use my buck twice on a doe. I only let him breed two does at a time before I rest him till the next breeding cycle.

I really don't know. I breed my buck to one doe at a time, let him cover her a few times sometimes I'll breed morning and evening, and then breed to a different doe the next day then wait about 2 weeks to do the next set of does.

New recommendations state that a buck is more viable if used once per day
with two ejaculations per time. They can recover far faster than previously thought.

Years ago....20+....I used a single buck on six does in one evening. He was
""somewhat"" tired at the end of the evening, asking for an extra cigarette.
However, all six does delivered healthy, lively litters 30 days later.
Now "that" dude was a BUCK!!

He remained my sole herd buck in a 25-doe operation for several years.
He had an excellent...disposition and truly enjoyed the small chaise lounge
I built him. LOL.
