So a couple months ago I bred Lina (a broken blue Polish) and Little Guy (a Jersey Wooly... I don't know much about these guys, but he's white with dark gray ears and around eyes and red eyes). I suppose "bred" isn't quite the right word... One was out playing, the other escaped her cage, and, well, the rest is history. ;) Anyway, they produced a pair of sweet boys. A blue and a black. Lina has dark brown eyes. And here, we have a blue polish with... Gray eyes? Gray eyes should be recessive to brown and dominant to red, correct? So how can a kit have gray eyes? It truly puzzles me.

Blue rabbits are supposed to have gray eyes. My nice, typey blue doe got disqualified at the last show because her eyes are brown and they are supposed to be grey. (Oops, I missed that in the standard)
