I'll be the first to admit that I sometimes make, what could be major
mistakes. Thankfully, I've gotten to the point that 99% of my brood
does are "patient" with me and my absent-minded behavior when it
comes to wearing my glasses AT ALL TIMES when working in the rabbitry.

I walked in a couple nights ago and had this mama-doe in a tizzy.
She had every right to be.

It seems I hadn't paid close enough attention to her in her time of need.
She boldly walked up to me and gave me quite an irritable stare.

I quickly provided what I had so obviously forgotten and she got right
to work. NOTE the "I-oughta-bite-your-ass" look in her eye. LOL.

She finished her housekeeping chores just before the lights went out
for the night. The following morning she had delivered a litter of 11
very healthy kits.

Grumpy.

With that many rabbits to keep track of, I'm surprised you don't have kits on the wire everywhere.

She seems like a very good momma. Glad you gave her what she needed in time!

It just goes to show "Grumpy",
that we ALL make mistakes!
I have just placed seven Nestboxes a few days early,
as I am apt to get a tiny bit busy and drop the ball!
Not this time! Thanks for the little "WAKE UP! call.
There's no harm in adjusting yourself once you get back into step.
Ottersatin. :eek:ldtimer:

She looks like she's trying to figure out what to do with all of the fluff she pulled out... at least she put it in the same spot ;)

No...lol...she knew exactly where it needed to go..
She just decided to 'stroll-by' and give me a dirty look.
It's easy to see she was "peeved" at me over my forgetfulness.

Just look at the set of her ears while she was nest-building.
Not completely P-O'ed, but close. They'll speak volumes if
one knows what to listen/look for. She was definitely irritated.

She looks quite put out with you!

What did you mean about the glasses? I wear mine all the time.

Yeah, Miss M. I wasn't very high on her popularity list for about an hour. LOL.
She finally settled down and lost some her attitude towards me.

I can see good 'far-away' without my specs. But when I need to read up close,
I'm blinder than a bat without them. All the letters and numbers sort of 'fuzz-up'
and I can't decipher squat.

grumpy.

Ah, I get it... they usually don't see you in your glasses?

I'm getting there. I get things far enough away so that it's not fuzzy, and now I can't read it because it's too small. LOL That's only for really small print so far, but it's making sewing difficult. I have to use a Fresnel lens for that now. I need new glasses.
