We have a pure creme d'argent doe that is breeding age. I put her in with Claude and he attacked her--chasing her ripping fur with his feet and teeth! He has been a steady breeder with our other rabbits and is more than willing to mount every other doe.
What gives? She is most definately a she---checked multiple times.

I cannot figure it out.

How old is she?

Could be he just doesn't like her, but this is more common in does than bucks. I know you've checked and she appears to be a doe, but I wonder if she is perhaps one of those ambiguous rabbits we've heard about. Maybe she has a hormonal imbalance and doesn't smell right.

Can you try her with another buck and see what happens?

I put her with her brother and she is fine. he mounts her although she won't lift. She has not been bred so I can understand her reticence, but the issue with Claude is puzzling.

Sounds like she just isnt ready even if her number age says so. He maybe can smell that in her.
I would cage them side by side for awhile and try again.
