A 3wk old kit needs to be culled i think

nestbox eye, skin and bones, and now can't walk, keeps flipping over. I found it outside the nest box a few days ago, the eyes are not clearing up.


What do you guys think?

Sorry about the kit. It is always so sad when the little guys have problems.

It sounds like it may be e. cuniculi, commonly called wry neck.

Personally, I would cull it, especially since it is thin and has goopy eyes. If you want to try to treat it for wry neck, this site will help:

It's sad, but it is not likely to improve and it has to be suffering. I'd cull it.
