Mom is chestnut agouti, Flemish Giant(tort) and NZW cross
Dad is satin Chinchilla with pretty blue eyes
We have 10 kits, 4 look like mom, 4 look like dad, and 2 REW who are starting to develop grey points. 2 of the chinchilla kits look kinda shiny, like dad. Is that even possible if mom isn't a satin?
I am in the market for a satin chinchilla doe, but they don't seem very common locally. Is it worth it to breed back a chinchilla kit to dad? I can't sex them yet, my eyes aren't good enough to see something that tiny anymore! lol
