What songs do mean something to you?

I love Disturbed's cover of Sound of Silence! It's so good. I love The Last Resort, Desperado, and Wasted Time by the Eagles.

    Convert to cage free?

Would Lina's mounting still be hormonal if the only male in the house is neutered? Also, I don't mind some droppings. But Bennie just is clueless when it comes to the litter box. Would neutering fix any of these territorial behaviors?

    Convert to cage free?

I wasn't sure which forum to post this in, but I suppose it is mostly about housing for the buns. So I have three rabbits. Jesse, ten years old. Lina is three, and Bennie is one. Bennie is Lina's kit. Jesse is a neutered male. LIna and Benine are not spayed. They currently live in the basement...

Gray eyes or am I seeing things?

So a couple months ago I bred Lina (a broken blue Polish) and Little Guy (a Jersey Wooly... I don't know much about these guys, but he's white with dark gray ears and around eyes and red eyes). I suppose "bred" isn't quite the right word... One was out playing, the other escaped her cage, and...

5 week old bunny acting... strange

I plan on going to the store today to find some better pellets. Should I look for a red salt block as well?

5 week old bunny acting... strange

I will be sure to go to the order store and find a food with more protein. Thank you again!

-- Sun Aug 03, 2014 3:00 pm --

Update... The kits are out now and Benny is playing and hopping. Still not as muh as his brother, but I have never seen a bunny as energetic as his...

Help- my buck may be sick

He is drinking... Is he peeing? Like Maggie J said, intake and output are important. And if there is intake, there should be output. If he is drinking, he should be peeing. If not, it could be a kidney problem. He could very well be sulking. When I do my buns' nails, they won't let me pick them...

5 week old bunny acting... strange

The salt block is white. Their pellets have 13% crude protein. The kit is not totally listless. He wanders around, explores, and hops around, but he just doesn't play. He also licks his brother a lot. I'm considering a vet trip to see if it could be a gas bubble or an enlarged heart. Medication...

5 week old bunny acting... strange

They have a salt block and I feed them Timothy based pellets. Before they had a mixed food with rabbit treats and things mixed in, but I switched the food a few days ago because they were picking out the treats and not eating the pellets.

-- Sun Aug 03, 2014 11:42 am --

...

5 week old bunny acting... strange

Hi everyone. So Benny and June (from the "5 day old rabbit not breathing correctly" forum) are 5 weeks old now as of Wednesday. Benny, the gray one who had the growing problem earlier, is acting really strangely. Before I begin, the other day I picked little Benny up and he managed to wiggle out...

5 day old rabbit not breathing correctly

They're still doing well. I decided to call them Benny and Jet after the Elton John song, but then I ended up calling them Benny and June because they were born in June and I love the movie Benny and Joon. :) I included some pictures that you all were waiting for. I just wonder how lon g their...

Both bunnies and Mom are doing great. The little guy opened his eyes today and he's been growing! Thanks so much again for all the advice!

5 day old rabbit not breathing correctly

Thanks again for all the advice. I think the kit might have just been smacking. I'll just keep listening to the little guy and watching his growth. That wet towel sure scared me! -- Thu Jun 26, 2014 11:59 pm -- Normally they're fine with the towel. It helps to keep them off of the bottom...

5 day old rabbit not breathing correctly

Sorry about that! I'm in Minnesota. It's pretty warm here right now, staying around 70°F. The little gray guy seems to be breathing more normally, so we'll see how he does in the next couple of weeks. I'll keep an eye on his size and keep you all updated. Thanks for all of the advice!
<br...

5 day old rabbit not breathing correctly

OneAcreFarm- Yes this is my first litter as well as the doe's. I've taken care of other babies (piglets, squirrels), but the bunnies are proving to be tricky :/ Another question. If the little gray one doesn't make it, will the remaining kit be okay? He won't have any siblings to snuggle up to...

5 day old rabbit not breathing correctly

Also I changed the bedding yesterday. I kept as much hair as I could, then put in new bedding, new hay, and a clean towel. The kit started breathing oddly a couple hours after I changed the bedding.

5 day old rabbit not breathing correctly

Okay I have an update on the kit. It seemed to be breathing normally and when I picked it up and its belly still felt full and it was pretty strong. But sometimes it would breathe weird, particularly when it stopped moving around. It was acting a little weird, though. It kept trying to dig in my...

5 day old rabbit not breathing correctly

Hello. My Polish kindled on Wednesday night. Of the 6 kits born, only two survived the first nigh, a black and a gray kit. The gray one has a lot of hair and is about half the size of the black one. I checked the two today and they were both doing fine. Their bellies looked full and everything...
