Zass, I been using Kalmbach Feeds for about 8 months now. I switched from Manna Pro Grow. I'm still feeding an 18 percent and all the rabbits have done well with the switch. It's about $3 a bag cheaper and is made in Upper Sandusky, OH.

Thanks for the info. I just started doing palpations and was amazed how easy it was to find that "grape" on the first few I did. Now I have a doe that I can't find anything at 13, 14 and 15 days and I'm wondering if I just can't find it or if she is open.

For those of you who palpate your does, if you think your doe is open do you breed her right away? Are you at all concerned that maybe she was bred and breeding her again may cause 2 pregnancies?

I wouldn't use the expanded metal for a floor. It's to easy to catch toes in the little v's of the diamond. Ooooch! :o :o

My 1st trio was like that too. I finally just picked them up, one at a time, and held them while scratching them between the ears. You could feel their bodies relax as I did this. After a few times of this they calmed down considerably.
