I am so super happy, after a few years away from raising buns I am finally able to get back to it :) Meet Oreo my new herd buck and Coco my first doe. I have always wanted to do Magpie Harlequins and I finally have a chance at it. I am going this evening to pick up two blue Magpie babies :)

So in an effort to increase the meat production on my magpie Harlequins I am considering breeding my blue magpie doe to a REW New Zealand. Am I correct in my assumption that the kits should come out chin and magpie ? I am not very good with colour gentics

and Momma is a chestnut Flemish.Cali mix - Daddy is a harlequin Meat Mutt. Does anyone know what the bottom kit in the second picture would be called , it has a chocolate cast to it but not real sure what to call the colour.

I am so in love with these little guys :) They are just beautiful, though I am kinda depressed that I did not get any opal's or chocolates in this litter. I will be saving back a couple of the lilac's for future breeders.

These kits are out of an American Chinchilla & a Chestnut mix breed. The Chestnut is out of a Gold Tip Steel & a Japanese Harlequin. I was hoping for some chinchilla coloured babies but no dice there.Are these babies orange or fawn, or is it to soon to be able to tell - they are 4 days old.

This is Cassie. I think she might be a blue VM but the reddish tint is making me uncertain. She has that tint through out her body, on her ears and a bit on her muzzle.I have a friend with a blue mini rex and he does not have this reddish tint, could she be something other than blue?

Here is Pee Wee And Moose They are brother and sister. I believe that Moose is what is called a black tort though I am pretty new to genetics. Pee Wee is a harlequin. I am really happy with them :)
