    rabbit-themed gifts

I want to recommend a site that you may find useful for rabbit-themed gifts for Christmas, etc. They have t-shirts, coffee mugs, refrig magnets etc. Those with pet rabbits can find selections, also designs featuring "Psycho Rabbit", "save the carrots, hunt rabbits" etc. And some of the...

    Acorns

    I think they'd be awfully high-calorie.

Are you SURE you are vegan?

Sorry, I thought it was obvious that I was being ironic & humorous. The idea of a rabbit bragging about its dietary choices, LOL. The word "rabbit" had been used in few if any of the previous posts & I wanted to correct that omission.

    Doe screamed when bred

Fear can be due to extreme pain & the expectation of more. I wonder if the doe's screaming was followed by huddling. "SCREAMING: You never want to hear this sound. When a rabbit is truly terrified for its life, it lets out a scream that is almost human-like." Pg 178, Rabbits For Dummies...

Are you SURE you are vegan?

Rabbits are vegan; they just don't brag about it.

    "Bunny" vs "Rabbit"

I tend to think of "bunny" as meaning a young rabbit. Like puppy is to dog and kitten is to cat.

Enter the characteristics of your mystery plant & it will suggest plants to buy. Look at their pictures &...

Now... What Do I Do With the Grapes ?

Questions and comments about plant safety for rabbits.

Thanks, MaggieJ, for clarifying that it's only the seeds of wild carrot that are toxic. I couldn't figure out when I saw wild carrot on the most toxic list in House Rabbit [pg 61].

do rabbits need to stretch out in their carriers?

I'll be pulling cart with my own necessities, so I'm thinking I'll fasten the wire carrier inside a mesh backpack. I'm an older Baby Boomer, so have to go minimal.

do rabbits need to stretch out in their carriers?

I'm going on a trip & need to get a carrier. I'll be gone 6 months, so no chance of leaving her behind. I need to have the smallest possible carrier, because I have to walk for about a half hour during the trip, which will take about 3 1/2-4 hours in all. I don't think she will be calm enough...

    What Rabbit?

Try adoptapet.com or petfinder.com for pets. The Chicago shelter I found through these sites neuters all their rabbits & housetrains them. Neutered rabbits have fewer behavioral problems & tend to live longer.

    Dutch?

I guess it depends what you mean by useful. I think companionship is useful.
