I recently got some 4 baby rabbits from a friend but do not know the breed of them. Are they a mix or a purebred? I posted some pictures of the baby rabbits. Please help. :bunnyhop:
This has never happened before, but it started getting worse. I open up the does hutch and she grunts almost like a pig and white snot or rarely clear snot comes out of her nose. She tries to wipe it away. This happens everyday. I want to breed her. Is it okay to breed her? Is she sick? What...
I have a Himalayan :bunnyhop: :bunnyhop: rabbits which are very similar. I do love their soft fur when first born and their pink eyes. :rabbit-hop2: :lilbunny:
I just saw a post with a picture about a Californian rabbit. I have Himalayan dwarf rabbits and they both look the same. What is the difference. Is the Cal. rabbit larger? Any suggestions :bunnyhop: ??
That is an adorable rabbit. My rabbit has a black triangular nose which is adorable. Do you have any pictures of the rabbit. i would really want to see the rabbit. Thanks :bunnyhop:
i have also heard that a doe should not have kits in hot weather because something happens to the does heart that causes her to eventually die. I'm unsure if this is true?
Ok ill make sure to cull it soon Thanks for all the advice!:)

So i have recently been letting in my lonely buck rabbit inside the house because he is the only boy and the two others are does. So he lives in a cage but sometimes I let Milk, My buck inside and stroke his fur while sitting in a chair. I have two dogs that have vaccines but the buck doesn't...
The rabbit that has had kits before a couple of months, is grunting when being held and stroked. Before when she didn't have kits, she would never grunt. She has had 3 litters of kits in the past and is still grunting. Is she uncomfortable or just doesn't like being held?
I recently started letting my buck rabbit in the house so I can pet him because I separated the doe from making more kits. I also have a female blind rabbit which I cannot put with the buck because the may have babies. So I get my buck rabbit from outside hutch and go inside while watching tv...
Well today I cleaned up the eyes and opened them up and found there was no eye ball. It was just a strange white goo inside and the contact like lens. Does this mean the kit is blind??? :(
If I let that kit live would the eye affect its way of life. I would really hate to cull the kit so is there a chance the kit may become blind. I mean one eye has cleared up. Would it affect how it moves around and eats???
