I've been buying up used cages over the past year.
Most generally they look something like the ones
pictured below.

I try not to spend more than $10 a hole for
cages in this condition.

The same goes for the larger ones as well.

I'll disassemble them and re-build/re-purpose to suit my needs.

I'm changing all of my grow-out pens from straight to angled.
It's easier to remove the fryers once they're ready for market.
Plus, I'm going to cages no more than 24" front to back. "short-arms"

Finished cage with 4 holes 30" wide. I'll build one more just like this.
I've already got two 10 footers stored.

These narrower cages will replace the deeper grow outs.
I'll lose 2 holes per side but end up with an aisle a foot wider.
Still got to run the waterlines while they're on the saw-horses.
And cut the holes for the feeders. I'll like these much more.

I would be thrilled if I could find some used cages that look as good as yours grumpy.
The ones I find generally look like they've been drug behind a truck. Or perhaps sat on by an elephant. Or usually rusted so bad that the remaining 4" of wire isn't worthwhile.

I find it isn't so much the rabbits I really enjoy, as building the cages. What I got for Christmas this year? An electric sheet metal cutter shaped kind of like an electric drill. Works perfectly on cage wire. I can cut a 2 ft piece of wire in about 2 seconds.

I make all of my cages only 2 ft deep too. I had a set of really nice 30" cages once. Got rid of them. Couldn't reach the back wall.

That's a neat cage idea ...thanks for the pics :)

I bought a bunch of used cages this past fall. Sold a few and
changed around a bunch of them. 30 inches was too deep.
I like them at 24" deep.

These slant/fronted cages are a lot more time consuming to build.
I "think" the angle is about 33.33 degrees on the front face of the cage.
I'm going to install floor spreaders on them as well.

But, when you're needing to catch up and load 40-50 fryers,
I know it'll be a lot easer. The shorter depth is a big plus.
