I have 4 that share an outdoor cage. They all love running around in the yard and some days I can't catch them so they stay out overnight. Thing is they run around in the rain and only get out of heavy rain.
Would you let your rabbits run around in the rain?

As long as they have a safe place to stay dry, I would say they are probably fine. 
Sounds like they are having fun! I wouldn't worry about it. As Mini Lop Fan said, as long as they have a dry place to go they will go there to dry off as necessary. My rabbits are outside and get snow and frost on them with no ill effect. Heavier rain might be a problem but if they stay out of it they must know their limits.
