Would it be ok to keep these together for a short time?

We have 2 Holland Lop kits born June 3rd that we are going to keep. We also have 1 blue-eye-blue Lionhead born on June 24th that we want to keep.

We are out of cage space at this moment and need to find a place to put the Lionhead when we wean her from her mom in about a week or so.

For short term (maybe 4 weeks after she's weaned) could we put the Lionhead with the Hollands, or would that not be good? We don't want them to fight or have anything to happen to any of them.

The Hollands are a boy and girl, the Lionhead is a girl.

What are your thoughts? Thank you!

Depending on how old they are it should be fine. But if you have 1 extra cage its probly best to move the buck out in order to avoid unwanted pregnancies. The does should be fine though

I just noticed you had their birthdays. You should definitely move bucky out. That way you dont run that risk

Bucks of small breeds should be separated by 8 weeks. Pregnancy can happen. Otherwise I throw various ages from various litters together until 12-16weeks. Occasionally mixing ones near that max age will cause problems but not usually putting a very young one in even if the others are fairly old. You just need enough space, water, and food that the smallest doesn't get shoved out by the bigger ones. I have a 30x36 cage that I put a row of bricks in the middle and set 2 water bowls and a feeder on. With bottles and wire cages you could just put one on each side of the door or the end if it's not surrounded by cages.
