My NZR doe finally had babies today! 7 little popples, already fed. Her nest is not the greatest but not bad for a first time mom, hopefully it will be good enough since the weather has been pretty warm. I cant wait to see if they turn out solid red, like mom (dad is a booted red) right now they just look pink.

She must of made the nest sometime late last night, I checked her before I went to bed nothing, then this morning 7 fat little popples!
We bred both our red doe and steel do to the booted buck, so far it seems only the red do took. I will probably keep a doe from this litter, and either cull or pet out the steel, I am not too happy with her size anyways, but she is a sweetheart.
