Wire kits, building nest day late?

Doe had 7 kits on the wire, didn't make a nest yesterday. This morning, mouth is full of fur and when I gave her a nest, she made one. Any chance she has any more kits or is this just late instincts kicking in?

Oh yes, she will likely do it right next time. Sometimes, kindling just seems to catch them totally unawares....

Well, she collected all the fur she put into the nest and is doing nothing more than running around her cage with it in her mouth....
What a weirdo...
