Which one of these pairings would give me a better chance at getting brokens in a litter?
Broken buck + Booted doe ~*~ OR ~*~ Charlie buck + Booted doe

I also have solids I could breed the Charlie buck to - but just wondering what my chances of getting broken from the booted would be. I'm wanting to get more brokens in my lines, but can only choose one buck :/

From what I understand, the Booted is actually an expression of the Vienna gene. Therefore I would think that you would get false charlies to full charlies with either buck. Though you should also get anything between the "false" charlie, charlie, booted, to "normal" looking kits.

A booted is a broken. It's just a broken with genes that lead to little white. You can also have regular brokens that look like charlies because they have genes that lead to lots of white. You cannot fully predict pattern. The booted might win out in the pair and make all the regular brokens have too little white or the 2 could combine to make all the regular brokens look charlie. The only thing you can predict is the chance of getting solid, broken, and charlie. A charlie will only make brokens and charlies. With a solid it's 100% brokens and with a broken it's 50% brokens and 50% charlies. 2 brokens booted or otherwise is 25% charlie, 50% broken, and 25% solid. A broken with solid is 50% broken and 50% solid.
