I am looking for a new MR doe to replace the one I had to put down. I found a breeder that has 2 does available now with kits available in the future.

Right now she has a broken chocolate (black and broken black parents) and an opal broken blue and harli parents). She was going to take both of them to the nationals but has decided to downsize her MR herd to make room for her New Zealand reds and FG. Here is the pics she has of them, not the best pics, and the opal's pic is of her as a kit. Waiting for updated pics. Oh my bucks I have are a blue and a tri.

I know, she is supposed to email me better pictures sometime. This is all she has on her computure right now.

I know they're not posed correctly...but I like the broken chocolate better. Course unless your bucks carry chocolate, you'll get all or mostly blacks/broken blacks. Her coat looks better then the others, as well as hear head/over all shape. She looks like she's a bigger doe though then the other one, so that might be some thing to keep in mind.

Remember to have the under color checked on the opal, it doesn't quite look right to me over all. Don't want the wrong color there. Color wise, she'd probably be a better match for your bucks. You'd probably get more opals, blues, and maybe tri or harlequins...depending on the buck used. What about a picture of your bucks? might help to see who would be more of a better fit as well for them breeding wise. Also feet check, make sure they're really well furred.

Here are my bucks. They arent the greatest though  Tex is the blue buck and he just turned 1 yesterday. Cinnamon is the tri buck and he is 4 months old (also molting right now)He didnt want to sit still!

I am leaning toward the chocolate myself. I will probably see if I can have her breed the doe before i get her, she does have a chocolate buck

I like the broken doe better. The opal looks like her fur is too coarse.

I am getting the broken doe tommorow and she will be bred to her broken chocolate so hopefully I will have a litter chocolates and maybe lilacs next month. :D
