I am trying to help someone find a home for this rabbit. All I know is it was dropped off by their home. They found it and are caring for it until it finds a home. They know nothing about it other than it weighed in at 7 pounds and is a doe. Would you assume by the weight it is a Mini Lop?
I know that's a bit on the heavier side for a Mini Lop but seemed light for the larger breeds of Lops. What color is this?

Thanks much for any help!!
It's in Indiana if anyone is interested.

I'd say mini or cross, very big for a Holland and the muzzle looks wrong.

__________ Sun Dec 28, 2014 3:59 pm __________

I'd say mini or cross, very big for a Holland and the muzzle looks wrong.

If it's an adult, which it looks to be, than it is a mini lop, looks like a broken blue chinchilla (color)
French lops are over 10lbs grown & Holland lops are 4lbs grown

Large mini lop - females are larger, especially if pregnant ;)

The colour is black chinchilla. If it were blue the ear tips would be blue and not black and I don't see any white patches that would make it a broken, the lighter fur on the back of the neck is normal for chinchilla and any agouti based rabbit
