I am FINALLY finished with the Christmas rush at work. This is the craziest week of the craziest month of the year. We've had people calling for the last two weeks to get their pets in to see us, which is great except we've been fully booked for this week for over a month. We've gotten very practiced with our "we're sorry, all appointments have been filled for weeks, would you like a spot after Christmas?" speech.
I've had a very nice supper made for me and now I've settled in my favorite chair in my jammies and housecoat (it's a little chilly here :mrgreen: ) with my adults only eggnog and dessert. I'm looking forward to having four days (in a row!) off.
Hubby, dogs, ferrets and rabbits, the best parts of my day and I get to spend four days with them

This is the first Christmas where I had Thursday and Friday off before the Friday Christmas program, otherwise it would have been hectic. (Sorry I did not post about eggnog, I don't like it).

Mina, when I worked in grooming shops, they always made us work on Christmas Eve too. You are lucky that you got the weekend before Christmas off- I'm sure most groomers here will be working tomorrow.

Wonderful. I wish I could have taped it. Decent turnout despite the weather.

It must be nice to have a 4 day Christmas break! I have to work Christmas Eve, hopefully we'll be caught up and get to leave around 3, then off Christmas day and then back to work the day after!

I have been off all this past week although it wasn't a relaxing week! Our daughter teaches so when the kifs got out a half day on Tues but the teachers had to be there all day and then Wed, then throw in the SIL getting his knee scoped..... Guess who got to keep the Grands most of the week!

Most places I've been worked Christmas Eve but the boss was done and did not wish to work it. Most of the groomers around here finish on Christmas Eve and go back after New Years so this is actually a short break for me this year
