When will it be okay?

I have a 3 months old Netherland dwarf buck. I noticed he's been trying to hump another rabbit that I let him run around with (he's 3 months she's 2 months) because they are both really young. He started humping her and I began to wonder, when will he be able to get my does that are of age pregnant?

He may already be old enough, but the does probably won't be able to take until 3-4 months.

The males tend to hit reproductive maturity sooner than the females. I would go ahead and separate them though, you just never know...
