When is the best time to rebreed a doe after babies? (Pet stock)

We breed Holland Lops and heard you should wait 4 months after birth to rebreed a doe. I've seen several farms that rebreed after only 2 or 3 months and was wondering what people find is best? 4 months seems to be a bit overkill but I want to do what's healthiest for mom to give them the best care, which is not necessarily how I'd breed our production meat rabbits. I'd love to hear what other Holland or pet breeders think. Thank you!

I like to give my does 2 weeks without kits before I rebreed so I usually wait 8 or 10 weeks after the doe gave birth.

Pet/show breeders usually breed around twice a year and 3 litters in 2 years from what i see here. The low impact breeding schedule i have for meat runs somewhat heavier at 6 months between the first 2 litters and 4 months after that.

You can breed as soon as when the Kits are 4 weeks, if you're planning on taking them out at 8 weeks
