I have a doe that seems to be at least partly rex. That's her at 3 months in my avatar. I don't have an exact age for her or an exact blood line but I'd guestimate her at about four months. At what age does a doe begin to develop the chin roll?

Not all Rex get a dewlap, in fact Mini Rex get dq'd for it... although they can get some big ones going!!! lol She may be older than you think as they are supposedly a "Dewlap-less Breed"

The MR standard does not say anything about DQ for dewlaps. Most SR does I've seen have a small dewlap.

My 6mo mini rex has it she had it at 4mo. It is not a DQ in mini rex she went and won BOSG. The judge that was there was DQing for everything in the standard. Most of the SR mini rex had nice size dewlaps.

My Eglish lop didn't get hers until she had kits the poof there it is.

She may well be older than I think but if so she'll be small. The rex part of her may be a mini. I got a nice buck yesterday and she's trying to tear her cage apart to get at him.
