What to do before breeding?

What to do before breeding? Should i put them on a regime or reduce their feed or any special attention i should consider please help me its my 1st time breeding rabbit.

I do breedings in the morning before they are fed. If the doe co-operated then I try another breeding in the evening before they get their dinner ration.

What if she is not cooperant can i hold her down? or i should try later

I rarely do forced breedings but occasionally a virgin doe is not cooperative. I check her vulva to see if she shows signs of heat and if so I will hold her for the buck.

If she does not look ready I try again 3 - 4 days later

I normally breed on Fridays and get Monday or sometimes Sunday deliveries. I put the doe in the bucks cage and let him do his thing at least twice. If I have time, I'll let him cover her 3 times. If I can, I will repeat within 24 hours. So far I have been successful every time (8 out of 8.) All my rabbits are inside my house so weather is not a factor for me.

Do you think it would cause problem if i move her from inside to outside while she is pregnant or it can harm her because i need to get my rabbit outside asap so they grow their winter coat.

It wont hurt to move her. Just make sure she is in a shaded area and protected from the wind and rain or snow.

My one doe is anti-breeding. I have to get a death grip on her scruff with one hand, and use the other to hike up her butt. She growls furiously the whole time, LOL. Alas, nobody around who'll hold my beverage for me.

Is she something fantastically rare or special that you can't replace? If she were mine she would be retired from my breeding herd and become someone's pet.
