Picture may not be that good. It has little purple flowers opening up. The other is growing under the water faucet, but I have not seen it out in the yard.

I second the second one as a geranium. Not too sure about the first one. Can you post a picture of the flower?

I took more pictures, but still not that good. One picture you can see them in the clover.

Can you take some pictures of the first weed? They don't have to be close ups. I just need to get a feel for the general architecture of the plant and flower size. See if your camera has a macro setting and take a picture of the flower. I love ID'ing plants and it sort of drives me a little crazy when I can't. :wall:

It has a very familiar look. I'm sort of leaning towards something in the apiaceae family.... but could be totally off.

I will go out in the morning and get a good picture of the flower. I looked up what you said, apiaceae family, and it does look a lot like that.

Ok, just to clarify things - I noticed when I posted pix here, that the "first" one went to the bottom if I were posting several pix. That being said, looks like the one with purple flowers is a geranium.

Right, so the roundish, heavily dissected one is the geranium and the trifoliated trifoliate looking one is the unknown... just to be clear as mud.

Here's one of our common geranium species, the Carolina geranium:

After you import the file to RT and press the "Add the file" button, place your cursor on the screen where you want the image and then hit the "Place image inline" button. Then go get your next pic, and so on.

Yes, this is it. I tried to get a better picture of the flower, but fuzzy again. Rabbits cannot eat this, right?
