I have been reading up on them & saw they do not recognize the blue silver fox. So can the black have blue kits & if so do you get rid of them. Sorry to ask a stupid question but I have seen a lot of people selling the blue & I am a bit confused.

The black can have blue kits. What you do is up to you. If the bun as a whole is nice, you can breed it to a black, and get showable kits. My breeder also breeds silver fox, she either uses the blues a broods, sells them as broods or culls them for meat, depending on body structure.

Blues sell for a lot of money. Blacks $45, blues $75. At least in my area and others in surrounding states.

There are people trying to get the blue color passed. It used to be recognized, but fell out of favor and was removed from the recognized breed list. This past year at nationals, I think blues failed. There is someone also working on chocolates. Eventually the color will be recognized, but its going to be a while. If you like them, then keep them. If you can't sell them, at least you wil get lunch and a pretty hide out of the deal.
