I'm not sure what color this rabbit is. He's out of a BEW x Black Tort.

Dam: aaBBCCD_Eej

Sire: aaBBCcchlD_ee

I'm thinking he's a VM torted harlequin, but there were other kits in the litter with this coloration but no harli marks. Would that make them black torts? I'm questioning whether they are or not because I have many black torts and none are this light.

Thank you! :) I can provide more pictures if these aren't sufficient.

Do you know for sure that the dam is Eej and if so how do you know that?

He looks like a black torted or minimally marked torted harlequin to me but if the dam is confirmed Eej then he and his littermates have to be torted harlequins

The dams sire is a harlequin, and she did produce some heavier marked harlequins so I know she for sure does carry the gene. She also produced black, so that would make her e-locus genotype Eej, right? I suppose the one kit that didn't appear to have markings could have just had very small, light harli markings I didn't notice.

He is a black tort, just a very light one

Unless you've extensive lay test bred the BEW, you cannot know all of her genotype

Because she's produced self, she must have at least one of those and the harlequin and black colouring could have come from the male you bred her two so she could carry harlequin or non-extension

BEW _a __ __ __ _( ej or e ) vv
